Currently, projects are being pursued in each of the basic materials that Metamining has targeted for development. These projects are at different stages of development which is summarized below:
The subject property is briefly described as the “Metallurgical Coal Project”. The Coal Mine consists of 24-Million Tons of Coal Reserves situated under 1,890-acres of U.S. Government (BLM) leased land and 928-acres of contiguous private land owned by Metamining, Inc. The company controls 2,872-acres located in portions of Township 9 North; Ranges 24 and 25 East, Le Flore County, Oklahoma.
Utah Mining Corp. controls 66 square miles of paleo-beach iron sands in Callao, West Central Utah and close to Nevada, which could contain the potential for eventual production of more than 1.5 billion tons of magnetic iron concentrates grading +65% of Fe.
The working area is located in drum mountain, 80 km southwest to Delta, Utah, U.S.A.. This area has central region with approximately 6.75 kilometers. Mining conditions: 30 years of last century the area had manganese mining, form the mining sites to find the large scale mining both with vertical and inclined lifting scheme mining. Pit only 10 meters deep, indicating ore body cover is not thick. Not by open pit methods, may be the seam is not thick. Seam roof for the limestone, bottom of quartz sandstone are relatively stable.
Utah Mining Corp. controls 500 acre of hematite in Drum Mountain, Juab, Utah, which could contain the potential for eventual production of more than 70 million tons of hematite lump grading 58-62% of Fe. This deposit is approximately 45 miles west of Delta, UT. The property is accessible by all weather arid country roads.
Metamining is in the early stages of identifying potential chrome sources in Montana and possibly Canada. Montana was the source of much of the chrome ore in the United States up to the late 1980's and it is believed that there is still potential for development of the chrome resources in that state.
